This program is designed to prepare a licensed barber, cosmetologist, skin care technician, nail technician, or massage therapist to be able to demonstrate their practical skill and develop skill necessary to teach theory in a classroom.
What will you learn?You will learn how to teach and inspire the next generation of our industry.
Completion Time - How long does it take to Graduate?Full time students attending 30 hours per week complete the program in 20 weeks. The day full time class schedule is Monday -Friday 9:00 am- 2:00 pm.
Part time schedules is available - minimum of 12 hours a week. Program Evaluation:The course is broken up into chapters usually lasting one or two weeks. The teachers utilize a combination of hands on assignment, computer activities, practices, games, and various multi-media exercises catered for each student. Progress tests evaluates each student on theory, services completed and practical application of their work. Students are notified prior to these progress tests as to their needs in order to be prepared. An 80% average in each skill must be achieved.
