Bene’s Career Academy empowers students to turn their passion into a profession. The journey starts at enrollment. Our admissions counselors are available to guide and shape your pathway to success. Admission Requirements

  1. Be at least 16 years of age
  2. Complete your enrollment application
  3. Attend a tour and personal interview with an Admissions representative
  4. Massage Therapy, Instructor Training, Barber Styling, and Cosmetology Students with proof of acceptable education; must have at least one of the following acceptable documents:
    • High school diploma
    • High school transcript confirming graduation date for all graduation requirements
    • General Educational Development (GED) diploma
    • Associate Bachelor’s Degree
    • Enrollment in Bene’s Career Pathways designed to aid students in passing ATB test and working towards GED diploma
  5. Complete an enrollment agreement and be accepted as a student by Bene’s Career Academy.
  6. Meet the physical demands of the profession (details of physical requirements, wages, job growth and more can be found at www.onetonline.org)

Instructor Training students must hold a current Florida Cosmetology license AND have two years of salon experience.

Do You Offer Financial Aid?

Financial aid is available for our applicants. Grants, scholarships, loans, and work-study programs are open to both full and part-time students. Eligibility is dependent on need, academic merit, and full or part-time enrollment status. Bene’s Career Academy can help guide you through the FAFSA® process and identify the best financial aid options for you.

What Type of Career Services Are Offered at Bene’s Career Academy?

While we cannot guarantee employment, we do strive to help you create your own professional network through guest artists, salon owners, and other industry professionals. We also have an entire course program called Professional Development, in which we prepare you for salon success and business and give you successful strategies for your career. You’ll have a lot of opportunities to network and decide where you’d like to be!

Do You Provide Housing?

We do not offer formal housing through our schools. We are here to help you in any way that we can with housing. We can provide you with a list of housing in the area.

When Do Classes Start?

Class start dates vary per program. We have a few classes starting throught the year for our cosmetology program and classes start weekly for our skin care and nails programs. Please reach out to our admissions team to find out when you can get started!
