Bene’s Career Academy proudly supports two campuses in Florida, one in New Port Richey and one in Brooksville. Founded in 1976, we are a private school specializing in vocational training in cosmetology and wellness. Our cosmetology academy is accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts and Sciences (NACCAS) and the Florida Department of Health Division of Medical Quality Assurance Board of Massage Therapy.

Excellence is not only what we teach to our students, but a hallmark of distinction we uphold as a continuing education institute.

Our Mission Statement

Bene’s Career Academy provides career preparation in the Cosmetology arts and sciences including Barbering, Skin Care, Instructor Training, Massage Therapy and Nail Care in order to prepare the student for employment in the Beauty Industry to serve God, the family and community.

Our Educational Objective

Our objective is to provide students with diversified, integrated theory and practical courses based on eight sources selected from the common body of knowledge of Cosmetology, Barber Styling, Restricted Barber, Manicuring – Nail Care, Massage Therapy, Full Specialty, Facial – Skin Care, and Instructor Training.

Graduate students from Bene’s Career Academy are proficient in their field of study and respectful of their environment and the needs of their community. In addition, Bene’s graduates act in equality of all persons regardless of race, sexual identity or social standing. Graduates who have received financial aid have an understanding of their agreements and the necessity to repay all loans. Finally, graduate students have the confidence and skill sets to gain employment in their field of study.

Bene’s Career Academy offers a Career Pathways Program for students who have not yet earned their high school diploma or GED. You can come start your Career Program while attending adult education tutoring with the goal of obtaining your professional license and GED at the same time.

Barbering school, massage therapy, nail tech courses, and many more disciplines make up the full career catalog at our respected academy. Pursuing a license or certification through one of our many programs is fast, efficient, and geared toward career seekers who want to be competitive in the industry. Our smaller class sizes and opportunities for 1:1 mentorship turn professional goals into reality.

Empowering Affordable Education

Bene’s Career Academy is an affordable continuing education option in Florida. We believe in breaking down barriers to set a clear path for your future career. That’s why our tuition is set on a transparent payment schedule to maintain affordability in our class offerings.

Financial aid is available for qualifying students, as well as federal student loans to assist in obtaining your licensure. Bene’s Career Academy participates in five federal assistance programs based on need and academic performance; the Federal Pell Grant, FSEOG, Federal Work Study and Federal Stafford Loans (subsidized and unsubsidized). We work alongside our students to create pathways for success.
