Facial Skin-Care

The Facial Skin Care Program is a diploma course which instructs students in the biological foundation of the skin.  Students will be instructed in the proper procedures and techniques to maintain the health of the skin by using correct cleansing methods, massage manipulation on face, and the use of different esthetic machines and products.  Moreover, students will learn the different techniques for hair removal, makeup application, lash and brow tinting, and they will be prepared to apply eyelash including strip lashes and semi-permanent lashes among other skin care procedures.

The study of Esthetics involves the science of skin care, body care, hair removal and makeup. The properties and scientific aspects of skin care studies help to enhance the appearance of the skin. 
The course encompasses academic and practical applications with regards to facials, body wraps, waxing, makeup.

In addition, Bene's Salon Success program helps the student to gain communication and business skills to build confidence working with diverse clientele in preparation for the Esthetics industry.

Completion Time -  How long does it take to Graduate?

Facial – Skin Care Program – 330 hours
Program Objective- The program prepares the student to master BISB’s techniques to enter the skin care industry with Specialty Registration..

Full time day students attend 30 hours per week for11 weeks. The day full time class schedule is Monday -Friday 9:00 am- 3:00 pm.

Part time day students attend 18 hours per week for 18.3 weeks

Full time night students attend 15 hours per week for 22 weeks. Night full time class schedule is Monday-Wednesday, 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm

Program Evaluation:

The course is broken up into chapters usually lasting one or two weeks.  The teachers utilize a combination of  hands on assignment, computer activities, practices, games, and various multi-media exercises catered for each student.  Progress tests evaluates each student on theory, services completed and practical application of their work. Students are notified prior to these progress tests as to their needs in order to be prepared. An 80% average in each skill must be achieved.
A Facial-Skin Care specialty registration can provide you with a variety of opportunities. Bringing your passion and desire to the workplace is the ultimate goal of skin care professions.
